Question:

May a coach hand deliver the National Letter of Intent (NLI) to a prospect while the prospect is on Baylor's campus?

Answer:

Yes. NCAA bylaws specifically prohibit in-person, off-campus delivery of the National Letter of Intent. However, the NLI may be hand delivered to a prospect that is on Baylor's campus provided it is not during a dead period. Remember, the prospect may only sign an NLI during a permissible signing period.

The NLI website www.nationalletter.org is a useful resource for coaches, staff, and prospects. It contains many frequently asked questions regarding the NLI.
