WACO, Texas - Tennis fans have numerous opportunities to catch Baylor tennis on television in the near future. ESPN2 and The Tennis Channel will carry three events in which Baylor men's tennis participated in.
The Tennis Channel will air Baylor's April 7 dual match victory (7-0) over the University of Texas three more times:
Monday, May 31 - Noon
Wednesday, June 2 - 4 p.m.
Thursday, June 3 - 10 a.m.
ESPN2 will air the 2004 NCAA Division Men's Tennis Championship match on Wednesday, June 2 at 2 p.m. (CST). The Baylor Bears defeated UCLA, 4-0, in that match, bringing the Waco campus its first-ever NCAA team national championship.
Benjamin Becker has advanced to the NCAA men's singles final. The Tennis Channel will premiere that match on Saturday, June 5 at 6 p.m. (CST). There will be numerous re-airs of the single final. Becker, a junior, is facing Tulane's Michael Kogan in the championship match on Monday, May 31.
