Waco, Texas - The Baylor men's tennis team retained its No. 2 position in the most recent ITA national team rankings Tuesday. The Bears also are one of only a few teams that has four ranked players and two ranked doubles teams.
In the singles rankings Baylor's Benedikt Dorsch fell one stop from No. 2 to No. 3 nationally while Benjamin Becker moved up three spots from No. 13 to No. 10. The other ranked players for the Bears are Matias Marin coming in at No. 90 and freshman Matija Zgaga coming in at No. 102.
In doubles ranking, the duo of Benedikt Dorsch and Ivor Lovrak stand at No. 9 and the team of Dorsch and Zgaga move up five spots to the No. 20 position.
The Bears next match will be against No. 28 Texas at the Baylor Tennis Center at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
