Waco, Texas - Six-ranked Baylor extended its record to 10-2, Saturday afternoon at the Thalhimer Tennis Center, in Richmond, Virginia with a 5-2 victory over No. 11-ranked Virginia Commonwealth. The lost drops VCU to 12-2 on the season.
The Bears got out of the gate early winning two of three doubles matches to claim the point with victories from the teams of Benedikt Dorsch and Matija Zgaga and the duo of Benjamin Becker and Matias Marin.
In singles competition the Bears did not let up winning four of the six matches against the Rams. Baylor claimed victories at spots: one, two, four, and six.
The Bears will be back in action on Wednesday March, 10 against SMU in Dallas.
