Waco, Texas - The No. 2 ranked Baylor men's tennis team improved its overall record to 16-2 and 2-0 in Big 12 play for the season. The Bears defeated Texas Tech 6-1 Saturday evening at the Baylor Tennis Center in Waco, Texas
The Bears went undefeated in doubles play to win the point with Benjamin Becker and Matias Marin defeating Bojan Szumanski and Jakob Paulsen 8-2 at the No. 1 position while Ivor Lovrak and Reiner Neurohr easily overcame Esat Tanik and Rodney Vickers 8-4 at the No. 2 position. At the No. 3 position Matija Zgaga andJason Gould defeated Teddy DiBlasi and Michael Innerebner 8-6 to round out the sweep.
In singles competition the Bears didn't let up, winning five of the six matches. The men's tennis teams next match will against TCU at home at 6 p.m.
