WACO, Texas - In singles competition, Benjamin Becker won the ITA South Central Regional Tournament held at the Bayard Friedman Tennis Center in Fort Worth. Becker won his first tournament championship of the season, defeating 33rd-ranked Ante Matijevic of Texas A&M University 7-6, 6-4 in the final round. It took Becker three sets to down Texas A&M's Lester Cook in the semifinals and advance to the finals. He posted a 6-1, 6-1, 7-5 win over the Aggie.

In doubles competition, Baylor's Becker and Ivor Lovrak were defeated in the final match 8-5 by Rafael Abreu and Sestini Fabrizio of TCU.
