WACO, Texas - Baylor volleyball head coach Brian Hosfeld announced a pair of schedule changes Tuesday, one day before players report for preseason drills.

The Bears' match at the Ferrell Center against former Southwest Conference rival University of Houston has been pushed back one day to Thursday, Sept. 26. Match time is still set for 7 p.m.

Baylor's annual Green and Gold Scrimmage will be held Saturday, Aug. 24 at the Ferrell Center. However, match time has been moved up to 1 p.m. Hosfeld will host an open-mic session during the match, in which he will discuss the upcoming season and fans can ask questions.

Prior to the Green and Gold Scrimmage, there will be a luncheon held in the VIP Room of the Ferrell Center at noon. Hosted by the Quick Attack Club, the official booster organization of Baylor volleyball, the luncheon is an opportunity for fans to socialize with Hosfeld and the players. There will also be an opportunity for prospective Quick Attack Club members to join.

For more information on the luncheon and to make reservations, contact Aaron Leetch at (254) 710-8128.

Baylor opens its 2002 season Aug. 30-31 at the Mizuno Invitational, hosted by 2001 national runner-up Long Beach State. The Bears face Loyola-Chicago at 4 p.m. Aug. 30 in the season opener.
