Men's Tennis Up One to No. 19 in Nation

WACO, Texas - The Baylor women's tennis team held at No. 13 in the nation while the Baylor men moved up one spot to 19th in the latest team rankings released Wednesday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).
The Baylor men moved back to No. 19, the ranking they held a month ago. The Bears have won six straight matches since beginning the year with two losses.
On the women's side, Baylor held at 13th in the country for the second straight week. That ranking is the highest in the program's history and comes as the Bears have won their last six matches en route to a 10-2 record.
Wednesday's rankings mark the 52nd straight week that both the Baylor men's and women's tennis teams have ranked in top 25. The streak dates to March 15, 2000, when the Baylor women moved up to No. 18.

The Baylor men hit the road to play No. 20 Miami Friday before returning to Waco for a five-match homestand that begins with No. 3 Duke on March 15.
