Cross Country Teams Stay Put In Respective Regional Polls

WACO, Texas - Baylor's cross country teams showed no movement in this week's NCAA South Central Regional Coaches' Poll, released Tuesday. The men's team remained in seventh place, while the women's team stayed in sixth.
Arkansas continued to lead in both polls, however, Texas A&M garnered one first-place vote on the women's side. The Lady'Backs and Aggies were followed by Texas Christian, New Orleans, Rice and Baylor. On the men's side, the Razorbacks were followed by Texas, Tulane and Texas A&M with McNeese State and North Texas tied for fifth five points ahead of the Bears.
Baylor will return to action Oct. 28 at the Big 12 Conference Championships in Boulder, Colo.
