Men's Tennis' Wraps Up at UT-Arlington Tourney

ARLINGTON, Texas - With the team's top players in Atlanta for the ITA All-American Tournament, several other Baylor men's tennis players took to the courts Oct. 13-15 at the UT-Arlington Fall Invitational Tournament.
Junior Csongor Bibza and freshman Cory Ross both compiled 2-2 records for the weekend. Bibza lost twice on Friday, but recovered to notch two wins on Saturday to advance his record to 6-9 this fall. Ross alternated wins and losses and is now 6-7 this season. Sophomore Sean O'Connor lost all three matches he played for the weekend, dropping to 3-9 overall.
Baylor fared a bit better in doubles, winning both matches. Bibza and Ross teamed for an 8-3 win on Friday, and Bibza and O'Connor matched up to win 8-3 on Saturday.
The Bears will come back together Oct. 20-22 for the Midland Open in Midland, Texas.
